Windows Desktop Support Technician

This full-time position supports and maintains STATS IT desktops, laptops and peripherals along with assisting the datacenter / helpdesk team. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems within STATS standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve daily problems. The position utilizes one-on-one consultancy to end users in our main office and remote locations. The position’s responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment.

Responsibilities:

Image new hardware for employees.
Diagnose, repair and upgrade hardware and equipment
Install basic software on employee computers
Update documentation for department procedures
Install printer connections on employee computers
Provide minimal other end user support
Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software

Requirements:

2 year degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Understanding of Windows XP, Windows 7 and office 2007
Basic understanding of computer networking

Accounting Manager

General Description:

Work with Director of Accounting and staff across the organization, as well as local (international) service providers, to ensure all accounting functions are carried out in compliance with all country specific accounting, tax and regulatory filing standards. Responsibilities include period close processes, financial reporting, financial systems maintenance and implementing accounting policies and procedures.

Monthly financial close (25%)
International accounting support (25%)
Financial reporting and cross-department support (20%)
Annual audit and annual report (20%)
Policies and procedures (10%)

Assist the Director of Accounting in producing accurate and timely financial statements through the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis, account reconciliation and ensuring accurate corporate consolidation.
Provides technical accounting GAAP guidance and support to all company entities to ensure corporate compliance.
Assist with tax reporting as needed
Heavy participation in the annual audit, co-leading with Director of Accounting
Staff training
Assist in special projects as necessary

Requirements:

BA/BS in Accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
8+ years of combined Public Accounting and Private Industry accounting experience, including multinational business experience.
Strong technical accounting skills and ability to ensure foreign operations are converted to US GAAP. IFRS knowledge a plus.
Experience working globally and with diversified teams
Must have advanced Excel skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Great Plains GL a plus

IT Director

STATS LLC is looking for a technical manager with over 10 years experience in IT development/management.

The successful candidate will lead a team of infrastructure support professionals, be responsible for working with the business units to ensure a technical environment capable of supporting their business objectives, and be responsible for recommending and implementing technical enhancements throughout the company.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, creative and self-motivated. A bachelor’s degree is required and a graduate degree is desired. Required skills include experience in or detailed knowledge of some or all of the following: Oracle RDBMS, Oracle RAC, Cisco networking devices, BGP, WAP, SMS, Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Red Hat Linux, Open VMS, IIS, XML/XSL, NAS, and business continuity planning. Interest in professional or college sports is a benefit, but not required. STATS LLC is located just outside of Chicago.

Database Administrator (DBA)

The Database Administrator (DBA) is part of Database Team responsible for implementation and support of Oracle and SQL based databases.

Responsibilities

Daily database administration, performance monitoring, backup verification
Create and manage database objects
Plan, manage, and monitor storage requirements
Plan, implement, and maintain database security
Setup, configure and maintain standby databases using DataGuard
Configure and manage backups using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
Database migration and upgrades - across versions and across platforms
Assist product development groups with data modeling and database design
Database and application performance tuning
Advanced database technology implementation - Streams, Partitioning and clusters
Setup, configure, and maintain Database Grid Control
Develop, maintain, and manage tools for monitoring and maintaining databases and environments
Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation
Follow best practices in all database install and configuration
Perform other duties as assigned by the Database Manager

Requirements

BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) on Unix/Linux platform
Experience with Oracle software installation and configuration
Ability to troubleshoot and fix Oracle configuration and performance problems
Recent working experience with large Oracle 10g and 11g RAC databases
PL/SQL Programming
Unix/Linux Shell Programming
Experience with Unix/Linux System performance monitoring tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and problem resolving skills
Must have the ability to work in a team as well as independently
Must be available 24/7 when in on call rotation and in emergencies
Oracle 10g certification or above

Desired

Experience with NAS/SAN storage technology
Knowledge in NFS, ISCSI and FCP Storage connectivity
Experience with UNIX/LINUX system administration
