STATS Tracking System provides innovative information for broadcast, web, mobile, leagues and
teams. Tracking data is used to calculate cutting-edge, never seen before player and ball statistics, such as speed
and distance as well as coverage maps and time of possession. Leveraging tracking data in combination with STATS event
-based data provides a turn-key data solution. The end result is a revolutionary technology that enhances the way
sports contests are viewed, understood and enjoyed.
The system offers a powerful combination of precision data accuracy, low cost deployment and flexible in-venue setup
to revolutionize sports information. Utilizing just three high definition cameras, STATS football tracking technology
is able to identify objects in a field of view and extract the X,Y,Z positioning data of the ball and participants to
create a real-time data stream of each object’s movement. All aspects of the data collection process are completely
non-intrusive to game action.
The system’s portability allows STATS easy setup at various locations throughout the venue. STATS Tracking System is
comprised of fully integrated software and hardware with network and database solutions, providing a turn-key setup
that delivers data directly to appropriate platforms.
STATS is currently adapting its Tracking System to basketball, American football and cricket.
